Choose from the available Allison® 10-speed automatic transmission, paired with the available 6.6L Duramax Turbo-Diesel or the 6.6L six-speed automatic transmission with the 6.6L V-8 gasoline engine. The Next Generation Sierra 2500 Heavy Duty pickup truck offers up to 18,500 lbs. of max towing. The new model allows you to tow strong with a larger driveshaft, while the rear axle increases durability and strength.
A system of trailering technologies have been integrated into the infotainment screen, which streamlines the hitching and towing process with tools that help you tow with control. These tools include a Trailer Light Sequence Test, and available Trailer Tire Pressure and Temperature Monitoring System. The available class-leading 15-camera views allow you to easily keep tabs on your truck and trailer with HD Surround Vision, Rear Camera Mirror, and Bed View.
