After accepting the vehicle for the scheduled service, the service writer approached me with an attempt to upsell me with another $800 worth of totally unnecessary service. For example, my GMC software shows over 50% life remaining in the air filter yet you recommend replacement. Also the cabin air filter element is fine after 1 year, another bogus recommendation. I confused filing a complaint with the Oregon Attorney General Fraud Division. Upselling maintenance by dealerships is recognized as a national problem and Lithia is a national firm. I STRONGLY SUGGEST YOU CEASE AND DESIST THIS ABUSIVE TACTIC.
